A wholesale login portal for ASP Components
Let wholesale account holders see their pricing and order online without phoning support
What we did
ASP Components supplies agricultural and mower parts across Australia, with the catalogue, account pricing and stock truth living in MYOB Advanced and syncing into WooCommerce. Wholesale dealers had accounts in the ERP but no clean way to get online: they phoned or emailed for pricing and orders.
What we did
A first-time setup page that does the explaining. Existing account holders land on a dedicated page, enter the email registered to their ASP account, and get a link to choose a password. One field, one button, and helper copy that tells them exactly what happens next.
Navigation that takes dealers to the right door. New Account and First Time Setup entries in the desktop and mobile navigation, so a dealer who has never logged in and a retail customer who wants an account each end up in the right flow.
A password-reset email that matches the flow. The stock WordPress reset email assumes a normal shop customer. We built a custom email for the account-holder flow so the message matches the page that sent it.
Figma before code. The whole experience was designed and signed off as mockups first, then built against the existing login page rather than rebuilding it. Less to maintain, nothing duplicated.
